I can hear you talking to yourself now. "I've done AKC obedience, why can't I do UKC obedience?" Nothing is stopping you, all you need to do is register your dog(s) with UKC. Real simple, eh? Just call UKC at (616) 343-9020 to have them send you a registration form,and all you need to do is fill it out and send it in with the fee to wait for your registration number to come back to you in the mail. If you can't wait, just visit their website and download the forms directly from our obedience links page. You can also phone UKC and get a temporary registration number, which would allow you to enter a trial immediately and start earning those qualifying scores. Just be sure to have a credit card ready when you make that call. All dogs (mixed breed or pure breed, does not matter) can register through UKC.
We strongly suggest that you aquire or view the UKC website for the Rules and Regulations book from UKC before entering a trial. UKC obedience is different from AKC in all the classes in one way or another.
