Agility Titles

Once you have registered your dog with UKC, the type of titles you can get are UAGI (Agility one class), UAGII (Agility two class), UACH (Agility Champion), and UACHX (Agility Champion Excellent or Agility three class). With the UAGI and UAGII titles you would need 3 qualifying scores (170 to 200 points) each under two different judges for each class. You can compete in the agility one and agility two classes at the same time, but UKC will not award an agility two title until you receive the agility one title first.

Recently UKC has broken the agility one and two classes into an (A) and (B) division. If your dog has not earned the agility one title you can enter the agility one (A) class. Same is true if your dog has not earned the agility two title, you can enter the agility two (A) class. The agility one (B) and the agility two (B) is open to all dogs. To receive the UACH title you need to receive scores of 196 to 200 to receive points in each class of agility one (B) and agility two (B). You need at least 40 points from the agility two class and the rest of the 60 points can come from either agility one (B) or more from agility two (B). Here is a breakdown of the points:

Score Points Earned
200 10
199 6
198 4
197 2
196 1

To receive the UACHX title, you will need 5 qualifying scores of 196 or above with no major faults in the agility three class. To even enter the agility three class you must have aquired an UACH title on the dog entered. Three qualifying scores may be obtained by the same judge.

The final title you could earn is the Grand Agility Champion (UGRACH). Your dog must have earned the UACHX title before earning legs for this final title. To earn this title you must enter all three agility classes of AGI, AGII, and AGIII at one trial and earn qualifying scores that when you add your scores up they should be 588 or above. You must have 5 qualifying trials to complete this title under at least two different judges.
